The picture of Ellen with the orange was a favorite for a long time. She loved holding those little clementines. So when Kaylin picked up an orange the other day and wouldn't let it go I found myself with the perfect photo opportunity. Ellen was somewhere between six or seven months old. Kaylin is seven months here. In two days she'll be eight months and Ellen will be 5.5 years.
I've noticed before how convenient it will be to give Ellen and Kaylin nicknames based on the first syllable in each of their names. Ellen is "L" and Kaylin is "K". I love it. Their other easy nicknames come from the initials. They seem to stick more. Ellen is "ekker" and kayling is "kegger" Tee hee. Fun times ahead!

I had to look 2-3 times to get it right! I have always loved that picture of Ellen wiwth the clementine. Now I also love the picture with Kaylin and the clementine! Cutey girls!
I was looking at the first two pictures trying to figure it out, and was very impressed that you had the girls both in purple. It wasn't until I scrolled down I realized....they were the same girl ;-) They still look a lot alike!
