Why now?

Joe mentioned a reason for buying the slings now. It's not because I'm pregnant. That would be a good reason though. Yesterday Ellen wandered off and got lost for about 40 minutes. The cops came and everything. The firetruck and ambulance showed up too! My sister Ally and Alecia were here with me. They drove around in one car while I was in another and couldn't find the girl. Soon a couple of our awesome neighbors were helping me knock on doors to try and find her. Soon after the cops found her. She wandered pretty far by the time she was spotted by not only the police but the neighbor who's yard Ellen ended up in after climbing over a fence. She also crossed a street on her own. I drove down the street I thought she would be on but didn't spot her. One neighbor I talked to this morning said she saw Ellen wandering around, but wasn't sure if it was her (long story). She was over in another cul de sac other than the one behind our house.

Alecia had tried the sling she has on Ellen why they were here. It looked cool. So after my stressful day I figured if Ellen could still fit in one we would use it. She's liking it!
