At the beginning of the summer Angie and I planted some sunflower seeds. We were excited because we have never planted something like this from seeds. the started to grow and grow and grow, until the tallest one is over seven feet. It may be hard to tell, but there is something wrong with the next picture.
That's right the one on the far right is a sunflower stalk with leaves. No sunflower. I came home from work to report this to Angie and she told me one of the girls upstairs had decided to chop it off.
It was just a sad little standing there all headless, so I had to pull it up out of the ground and throw it in the dumpster to put it out of it's living misery.
Unfortunately that isn't the only thing. The sunflower next to murdered was seriously maimed. These are like my tall skinny orange on a toothpick sized head children.
This is the sunflower on the far left, named Wayne Cowley.....
