It seems Joe and I only manage one post a month. So here's the July post.
Ellen has been down at Grandma Di's house all week. I asked mom if she would go get Ellen a hair cut. The picture shows how it went. She didn't get very much hair cut off at all.
She's been having other fun experiences similar to this one while she's been in Richfield. Her uncle Curt took on the challenge of potty training her. He thought it could be done in two days. It's been three days and I talked to him this morning about it. He said, "She is the most stubborn little girl." "She's as stubborn as they come." And she apparently has a very big bladder because she won't go all day! Curt says that the screaming hasn't gotten better, but she scowls at him while she has to sit on the potty. I'm really glad I let Curt try this, now we won't have as bad as a resentment issue between Ellen and me.

good luck, lady.
why did you post THAT picture?? that is so sad!
i can just picture her little scowl. is it sad that i think ellen is cute even when she's being a punk? :)
no, it means you're just like the rest of us!
she's a drama queen. and stubborn as the day is long. how do you potty train a child that is even too stubborn to eat or drink. little punk is right. i miss her. she was so much fun that week. she is so cute. when she gets hurt she looks at you and says, "are you ok?"
