April 17th

Saturday, April 17, 2010 will mark six years that Joe and I have been married. It seems a little anticlimactic after reaching the five year mark. Last year was kind of a surprise that we had reached a milestone like five years. Number six feels like you're starting all over again! Now we have to wait another five years to get to 10 and then it will be a big deal again! Also six years is a good chunk of time to assess your progress and life. As of the end of this month we will both be college graduates! Hooray! During Joe's process of school a lot of other things have happened. Back surgery, a baby, getting out of debt, getting back in debt, losing weight, gaining weight, owning 2 out of 3 major gaming systems, doing at home businesses and other stuff. Everything else is pretty much the same! I think our biggest accomplishment in six years of life together is using our experiences to our advantage to create a foundation to stand on. It's a totally different thing to better yourself, with constant growth and change, and include another person in that so intimately. It can be uncomfortable and awkward-for both people! I hope we have developed that ability well enough to keep on fighting with and for each other! :) I love you, Joe!
