Jerk sleep

I know my sisters experience the strange phenomena of having in-between awake and asleep dreams that make your body jerk. Experiences range from dreaming about dodging a basketball to falling off of something. Last night I had one of the weirdest of these dreams I have ever had. And it got me to sleep run! I was falling fast asleep when I dreamt I saw a gigantic spider hanging down from the top of my closet crawling through the air towards me. In my dream and in real life I jumped out of bed to escape this monster. I looked behind me and saw the spider still crawling towards me so I ran out of the bedroom to the living room where Joe was. I wasn't sure if the spider had gotten on me or not so I turned my back toward Joe and asked, "Is there a huge spider on me?" Then I asked him to come check the bedroom for this giant spider! I made him check the bed sheets and in my hair. When I came to, I was getting back in bed and I was wondering what in the heck had just happened! Before I could fall asleep I had to tell myself that spiders that big aren't around here and wasn't even possible. Why would I have just thought all of that?!

So weird. Makes me feel kinda like a crazy person.
