Joe came in an hour later to wake me up and ask "Did you wanna sleep in here?" I was under the covers of Ellen's bed and sleeping on my pillow so I obviously had put some thought into it, BUT I was cold and needed some medicine (I was sick) so I just mumbled and got out of her bed and came into ours. Joe got me some drugs. We didn't say much.
We didn't say anything about it all day. I wasn't bitter anymore and Joe must have been because he brought up last night after Ellen was in bed. :)
He once again started with "Ya know".
The main point of his argument was "Ya know you're such a woman! I can't read your thoughts!"
What I said to him was, "Don't you ever pay attention to your situation and the cues? When I am playing or reading something I notice when my seclusion is starting to be annoying! It doesn't mean I care, but at least I notice!"
My argument was obviously weaker (though not incorrect). We ended up chuckling over it. Yet we were both so passionate about each other being wrong and ourselves being right!
The End.

Sorry this second part wasn't as fun to read. After a continuation of the argument I am worn out and less amused. And after another argument similar to this one last night and then another one this morning I am very much unamused! :)

Oh, it really shouldn't, but it makes me relieved that other couples have fights like ours. ;) I think heaven is a reward for not killing your husband and children. I'm "such a woman" too. Hope you're not still sick, or that you're getting over it.
Sorry! I really don't know what else to say.
Oh, I love the "pause" "unpause" stuff.
This how ours usually goes.
Ned-I'm hungry.
(kim makes food)
Kim-time to eat.
Ned-....
one minute later
Kim- Ned, time to eat.
Ned-...okay...
one minute later.
Kim- Ned, push pause.
You get the idea. It frustrates and amuses me everytime. Gosh I love my husdand!
Thanks for the good response Kim. It is a really funny story, but I didn't tell it in a very funny way. I like to hear people say they have similar conversations at their house!
We used to have a lot fights over video games during our first year of marriage! But I would be so fuming mad that I was never able to fall asleep. Good for you guys being able to get a laugh out of it, I need to work on that.
