It’s 9/11/2008. This is a notable date not only for it’s significance in history. This is the last 9/11 that President Bush will be in office. He has been with us so far ever since the terrorist attacks. This attack has become what President Bush’s time in office is all about. It has been what he has been criticized for in these current presidential elections and what the country has supposedly disapproved of for most of his second term.

But I would like to consider the alternative. I’ll admit I don’t understand or know as much as I could or should about this war in Iraq. But ultimately I appreciate President Bush’s action to do something! He didn’t leave our country’s wound untended. He sent that manpower to regain control and show that our country will stand up for itself. Life has an order to things. Each organization has a purpose. The purpose of our government and our president is to provide us with a cemented base that we as the people can stand on and be proud of. As a country consisted of fifty states with their own governments and laws we don’t need a federal government to run everything for us. We can do that on our own. But we do need them to tend to our international associations and present a strong front to the rest of the world.
So thank you President Bush for have the integrity and the manhood to take all the crap and still do what you see as best.
