I wanted to know what the rest of the world thought about Breaking Dawn. And maybe now that there are more fans we hear more bad things. Everyone raved and loved the first 3 and now all of a sudden everyone hates the 4th book? Lame. I thought it was great. Did any of you not like it?

Are you already done? I haven't een started yet.
come, nell! get cracking!
Haven't read it. So, I found a TON more Living Scripture DVDs while I was packing. They will be coming your way soon. Oh, Ned figured out how to hack a DS. Have Joe call him when he has a second.
people are saying bad things? who are these people and what's their problem? i loved it! it had kind of a different tone/feeling than the others, but was still great.
I will chat when I finally get to read it. I have it sitting here but an just to busy!
I really really liked it but wished that she would've toned down the "marriedness" of chapters 2-6. My poor sister in law who isn't married yet had to stop reading and call me to see where it was safe to read again. I just think that for an LDS author she could've used a little more discretion. I felt the same way about book 3. I LOVED the rest of it though. (There was that other awkwardness on pages 481 thru 488 too that I could've done without.) But talk about throwing you for a loop! I did NOT expect the announcement at the end of chapter 7 AT ALL!!
I agree about the marriedness part but only for the sake of those who haven't experienced that. I was totally surprised by what happened. I had no idea what to expect! And it was a good ending.
I loved the book, but not as much as the other three. I think a lot of it was because the story wasn't quite as intense since Bella was basically invincible. It was still good though and better then i thought it would have been! Everyone at the end was happy!
I like it a lot. I didn't even mind the marriedness parts at all. I think (compared to a lot of modern books I've read) that the descriptions were very toned down. I enjoyed it, but thought it could've been about 150 pages shorter. Overall: B
I really enjoyed the book. I thought some parts were a little predictable, but overall I thought it was great. I'm just glad that it had a happy ending, I'm a sucker for happy endings. I guess she can't please everybody, but I thought it was great.

Overall I thought it was good. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned feeling uneasy about Bella drinking blood, or anything like that.
I really liked how her characters developed especially Bella's. And even though her character was practically invincible physically, she still had weakness. Besides, I felt like it made her the perfect match for Edward, she became his equal.
*there are also spoilers here as well!* I loved the book. I thought it was great! I enjoyed how it ended and I didn't really know what to expect from it but I felt that it delivered. I had a good friend that hated it because she didn't feel that it didn't have enough battle in the end to culminate the series, but I didn't feel that it was necessary because they kind scared the Volturi away... that's a pretty big thing, so I felt it did a great job! I do have to agree with the whole marriedness of it but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all reading it in fact I was laughing through parts... but that's probably just because I'm married...
I agree with ya Erin. I am glad that this book was mostly about Bella and Edward finally reaching a ground where they didn't have to worry about who loves who more. They were finally where they needed to be.
Hi Angie! I really loved this book : ). It was definitely my favorite of the four. I really loved how Jacob found Renesmee because - this is a huge shocker - I always liked Jacob more than Edward and wanted so much for Bella to be with him. But they way it all worked out was perfect because everyone was truly so happy : ). I almost stopped reading the book after Bella turned into a vampire though because I never wanted her to have to change who she was to be with Edward, but I'm so glad I kept reading. Her life as a vampire made me think of what Heaven might be like : ). The way her mind had so much more space, and the way all her senses were heightened, and how their bodies were perfect. I loved that she was still 'Bella' as well. I loved that who she really was inside went with her into immortality : ). I hope that makes sense and doesn't sound bad.
I agree with you!! I thought similarly about Bella being a vampire! Cool. I never liked Jacob much though. I'm so glad you liked it and thanks for saying something! :)
