A is for Apple

My birthday is on Friday. So most of you know what this week will consist of. Angie getting spoiled. Birthdays are turning out to be very special holidays in this family. We love spoiling each other! What we do to organize this craziness is giving gifts that start with the letters in our names. So my gift for the first letter of my name was an Apple. A new Apple computer! Joe is going above and beyond the spoiling here. This is a birthday/anniversary/graduation/valentine's day present. This was a wonderful surprise! Sadly though the whole day was not so wonderful. While Joe and I were cleaning up around the house and setting up the new computer something awful happened. I broke Joe's laptop! Yeah, it fell off the table and I missed catching it and it bounced a couple of times one our tile floor. The screen doesn't light up anymore.
This reminded me of another time in my life where I did something kinda dumb and something got broken. It was in high school in Mr. Player's class. I was frustrated and tossed my back pack behind me. It got caught on a ruler in a cup on Mr. Player's desk. It knocked of the RHS mug and shattered all over the floor.
I got the same response in both these instances: "Oh, Ang...."

Happy Birthday, "Marie Antoinette and [my] little sister"!

I love that mug story. Didn't your red-headed friend say "Oh, Ang..."?

The bad memories will fade over time and the good will remain. Onward and upward!
