what to post, what to POST?!!

it's time to see something new on this blog. we've got no new babies to put up, or anticipated wedding stuff, or anything else really. Our life is all about school!! but we're almost done for the semester. we both did two finals today. ellen got to go to school for a few hours. we already put up our beautiful christmas tree and decorations. i love our house at christmas. we're having our very own reedy christmas. the very first one! we're excited. It'll be one of the only times when joe and i get to wake up a kid for christmas. i'm sure ellen will glare at us like she has been doing to so much lately. ellen has learned some new words. "baby", "sorry", "thanks", "ready", and "toes". it's pretty exciting. i'm becoming more of a pushover with ellen. i'm going to make myself better at that. she's just so cute though and now when she can point to what she wants and kind of better communicate with me it just kills me and she can have whatever she wants. she's totally been a mommy's girl lately which just makes me worse. she always cries when i leave and she always wants me to hold her. oh, it makes me feel so good. joe and i are looking forward to the break between semesters. we're going to california for new years' with some friends. that will be fun. we'll be back just in time to start the new semester... but we're happy to have this time to be with eachother.
