We went to the zoo on Saturday, August 20. After we finally got into the zoo Ellen Kate had to eat, of course. This picture of Joe shows what is first hour and a half at the zoo was like. He's such a patient dad. We were most excited to see the giraffes.
Giraffes are Ellen Kate's favorite animal that we chose for her. These ones weren't too big,but they sure were fun to watch. One of the giraffes we ended up watching for like 20 minutes. This giraffe got a weed stuck in his mouth and Grandma Mower wanted to jump in there and pull it out for him.

Speaking of giraffes and Grandma, she bought Ellen a zoo present. So far she loves. It's soft and easy for her to grab on to. She likes to chew on it's nose.

We were all very tired after the zoo. Joe slept for a couple of hours and "the small one" slept for three and would've slept for more but I had to wake her up to eat. She got some special attention from her cousin Harrison and her Aunt Ally. She didn't really care about the giraffes. But I think she like the stroller ride, except for when it got hot-which was pretty much the whole time for her! Thanks to all the fam for making it such a wonderful time. And thanks to Steve for providing granola bars. I almost died of hunger!
